Howie has been a member in good standing since joining the Royal Canadian Legion in 2010. He released from the Canadian Armed Forces in October 1990 after 11 years of service, and currently resides in the town of Angus, Ontario. Over many years on the Executive, Howie served in numerous positions and chaired many committees. In April 2025, he was re-elected President of the Edward MacDonald Branch 499 and currently serves as the Honours and Awards Chair, and Bar Manager.

Peter has been a member in good standing since joining the Royal Canadian Legion in 1999. He retired from the Canadian Armed Forces in March 2017 after 30 years of service, and currently resides in the town of Angus, Ontario. Over many years as a member of the Executive, Peter served in numerous positions and chaired many committees. In April 2025, he was re-elected 1st Vice President to the Edward MacDonald Branch 499 and was appointed as the Ways and Means Chair to which he currently serves.

Jeff has been a member in good standing since joining the Royal Canadian Legion in 2019. He retired from the Canadian Armed Forces in March 2020 after 39 years of service, and currently resides in the town of Angus, Ontario. Over the past few years, Jeff chaired numerous positions. In April 2025, he was re-elected 2nd Vice President to the Edward MacDonald Branch 499, and appointed as the Branch Sgt at Arms and Membership Chair to which he currently serves.

Commencing April 2025, Ralph enters his third term as the Immediate Past President of the Edward MacDonald Branch 499.

He retired from the Canadian Armed Forces in 1971 after 8 years of service, and currently resides in the town of Angus, Ontario. During 1980-1985, John served as Branch President, and 1st Vice President from 2011-2017. He also served in numerous Executive positions throughout the years. John was awarded his Life Membership in 1992 and received the Legion Meritorious Service Medal in 2018. In April 2025, he was elected to the Branch 499 Executive Committee and subsequently appointed as the Branch 499 Veterans Service Officer, to which he currently serves.
